The year was 2008, and Ariana Grande was yet to land her big break on Nickelodeon’s Victorious as Cat Valentine. At the time, she was still focusing on her on-stage career, starring in the Broadway musical, 13.
The soon-to-be TV star is almost unrecognizable here with her naturally dark brown curls in the place where her signature extra-high ponytail usually is. Of course, she has come a long way since her theater days, with a Grammy and five VMAs under her belt.
