The year was 2009, and up-and-coming Lady Gaga had befriended the Queen of Pop, Madonna. Unfortunately, their friendship wouldn’t last much longer after this photo was taken, with Madonna accusing Gaga of being a copycat on numerous occasions.
While she didn’t take legal action, she did let the world know how closely Gaga’s Born This Way sounded like her 1989 hit Express Yourself. Luckily, the two have seemed to patch things up since then, we’ll see how long it lasts.
