It may be hard to believe, but at one point in the mid 2000s, Taylor Swift, Katy Perry, and Miley Cyrus were all friends. This iconic moment was captured at the 2008 MTV Video Music Awards, before Swift and Perry’s feud that would go on for years. Their friendship allegedly went sour after Perry got close to Swift’s ex John Mayer.
Things only got worse after they reportedly fought over a shared backup dancer which ultimately ended up in Swift’s song Bad Blood which was believed to be about her ‘enemy’ Perry. Luckily, it seems as if the two have since reconciled, with Perry even appearing in Swift’s video for You Need to Calm Down.
