When we see cigarette ads these days, it is usually with the intent of deterring people from smoking with the scary imagery of lungs. Back in the day, these cigarette ads were genuinely pretty bizarre, like this one of Santa Clause enjoying a cig.
This seems all pretty unrealistic, however. Everyone knows that Santa Clause needs strong lungs to fly around the world with a sack of all our presents, and smoking certainly would take a toll.
