Human beings come in all different shapes and sizes, and while the world is still on its way to accepting this, there would be major backlash if this ad were released today. Calling people “Chubby” is totally out of line, but this was not the case in the 1960’s.
This company had no problem advertising its products to certain people who were slightly larger than “regular sizes.” We’re just happy the world evolved like it did because this is just plain messed up.
