Before departing In Living Color in 1993, Lopez garnered work as a backup dancer for Janet Jackson. She was set to tour late that year with the singer on the Janet World Tour, however, Lopez wound up appearing in just one music video.
“She was scheduled to do the whole tour, but she only did the ‘That’s The Way Love Goes’ video,” Jackson said. He commented the singer then asked to remove herself from the project, because she wanted to “do her own thing.” Jackson’s net worth is $175 million, while JLo’s is now $400 million.
