Regarding more Latino representation on TV, JLo lobbied at the National Cable and Telecommunications Association’s The Cable Show convention in 2013. She commented on how they were really growing as a community and she was happy to see the community in a place where they are “served and catered to.”
“There’s a big revolution going on,” she said. Jennifer thinks the community is now starting to realize its power and get to more fulfilling positions, instead of working behind the scenes like many used to do. “We’re realizing that we matter here,” she said.
