Along with her boyfriend at the time, Sean Combs, aka ‘Diddy,’ police once arrested Jennifer Lopez. Both were apprehended following a shooting incident at a nightclub. The district attorney elected not to charge Lopez, though Combs and two others received weapons charges after a stolen firearm was discovered in his vehicle.
Jamal “Shyne” Barrow, a Bad Boy Records protege, was detained for the shooting inside the nightspot. As a result, Shyne got a ten-year sentence for the shooting and served eight years, while JLo broke the relationship off with Combs.
