Jennifer Lopez and Leah Remini (who played Carrie on the show “King of Queens”) have been pals for more than a decade. JLo said in 2004, her ex-husband Marc Anthony introduced her to Remini at the premiere of Denzel Washington’s film “Man on Fire”.
Remini expressed she had known Anthony and he stressed she had to meet Lopez. She said when she met JLo, she hoped she’d be ‘ugly in real life.’ However, Remini was awed by her beauty. After complimenting Lopez on her magnificence, the two hit it off.
