Here we have classic municipal operations in action. There’s a bridge that needed to undergo some maintanance works. Nothing major, we assume – perhaps some routine housekeeping. That does mean that the bridge will naturally have to be closed down for the duration, but… what exactly is that duration?
Well, according to this actual newspaper headline, it’s either Thursday or October. That’s… a bit of a wide margin, isn’t it? We know public projects take a while, but an estimate of between several days and an ice age doesn’t seem like enough.
