In season 1, episode 10, we meet Trudy in ‘The Pineapple Incident’. Ted and Trudy get together for a night, and she ends up sneaking out via the fire escape the morning after. The audience finds out what happened after from future Ted, who says he called her but she never called back.
However, in season 3, episode 3, the two cross paths again. This time, Ted claims he was going to call her but felt too embarrassed to go through with it. So what really happened?
