It was a big deal that Tom Stinson was getting married, so you would think they would at least keep him married to the same guy. In season 2, episode 10, Barney catches Tom out by seeing a picture of the two together on Tom’s phone.
However, by season 7, episode 11, the man Tom is married to has totally changed. Since this was all playing around with monogamy versus playing the field, it seems a strange thing to change up.
