In season 1, Robin claims she has never played team sports. She claims she only ever played tennis in high school and that she couldn’t even stand when playing doubles. That was in episode 6, fast forward to season 1, episode 20, and we have a whole different situation.
Turns out, Robin apparently missed her prom because she had a field hockey game, which happens to be a team sport. This was shown in a flashback to Robin’s past as her father refused to acknowledge she was female.
