In season 4, episode 16, Marshall agrees to pose for Lily so she can paint him. The catch is that he has to pose with no clothes on for quite some time. It makes out he only agreed because he ate her bowl of fruit.
However, in an earlier season, Marshall has actually already agreed to do this for an entirely different reason. Instead of a bowl of fruit, the motive was to prevent Lily from looking or noticing other men who might not have clothes on.
