Anyone who has ever stepped on a treadmill will know that time does not fly when you’re running just staring at a wall, or worse, your own reflection.
Every part of your being tells you not to look at the timer as you know it’s not been anywhere close to as long as it feels, but you can’t resist. Before you glance at the timer, you reckon you’ve been going a solid 15 minutes, but when you look it’s only been three minutes – just another 27 to go!
