Johnson and Vin Diesel were such good friends it was actually Vin Diesel who got Johnson involved in the Fast and Furious franchise in the first place. But as it turns out, working together proved challenging for their friendship.
Although no one but the two of them know exactly what happened on set, a few sharp and since deleted Instagram posts from both made it clear Johnson thought Vin Diesel was letting his ego get the best of him. Johnson has in interviews alluded to the fact their friendship has never been repaired.
