Cameron Diaz, Drew Barrymore, and Lucy Liu all got along just fine on set. The problem, allegedly, was Bill Murray. As the more experienced actor, he apparently felt it was his place to comment on Lucy’s acting abilities. And she was having none of that.
While shooting Bill apparently turned to Lucy mid-scene and flat out told her she can’t act. Some kind of physical altercation followed and in the Charlie’s Angel sequel Bill was notably absent – which many believe has a lot to do with the Lucy Liu conflict.
