Once the kids are all grown up and previous partners no longer with us, what sounds better than living with our best gal pals just like the Golden Girls did? In reality though, they were not all the close knit buddies they seemed to be on-camera.
Betty White and Bea Arthur in particular did not always see eye to eye. Bea reportedly got very jealous when Betty received a lifetime achievement award and beat her to an Emmy. Eventually all four leading ladies got one, which somewhat calmed Bea’s jealous streak.
