According to sources, Sophie is a patron of over 70 charities. These charities are mainly focused around supporting young people and children, along with avoidable blindness. These charities are close to Sophie’s heart, particularly because her daughter, Lady Louise, was born with an eye condition called Strabismus.
Luckily for Louise, this condition was reversible, and her vision is now perfect. But Sophie often says she wants to assist as many parents as possible in helping their children come back from the darkness of blindness.
