Some stickers are hard to remove. Engineers design them so they perfectly peel without much effort, but companies often change their material or glue to save less than a penny in production costs, even though it comes at the price of ruining an item due to the horrible leftover they leave. This is especially annoying when you consider that almost everything you buy has a price sticker nowadays.
