He’s the oldest son of Cher and the late Sonny. However, he was born a girl, Chastity. When he became an adult he transitioned into a man and changed his name from Chastity to Chaz.
Cher reacted by saying that if she’d awaken one day and found she was a man she’d kick and scream and break things – basically make a scene – and not handle it as calmly as her eldest son seems to have.
