In 1962, Cher met the great record producer Philip Spector through her husband. Noticing how talented she was, Philip took her under his wing. He sure threw her vocals in the mix while creating some of his best records.
Cher was backup singer for Da Do Ron Ron by the Crystals, Be My Baby by the Ronettes, and You’ve Lost That Luvin Feelin by the Righteous Brothers. With hindsight, it seems she was preparing for her own music journey.
