As if the actual structure and the religious artifacts inside of the Notre-Dame weren’t enough to impress, the bells certainly were. This famous cathedral was home to ten large bells that have accompanied some of the biggest events in history.
Not only have they sounded the arrival of major world and religious leaders, but they have also rung out for coronations and ceremonies. Because of this, the people of Paris have grown to love the building the bells that reside in it. This made it even more upsetting when they watched the building crumble.
