The tragedy of Notre-Dame is one that has devastated countless people around the world, but it’s also brought people together. Since news of its destruction has reached billionaires, countries, and everyday people alike, more and more people have donated money to the rebuilding project.
Over $1 billion has been raised to restore the Notre-Dame de Paris to its former glory, and it’s been noted that even more will be raised in the coming years. Because of this, French Prime Minister Emmanuel Macron has noted that the cathedral will be completely rebuilt in five years.
