As more and more people became aware of the fact that the Notre-Dame was on fire, people across the world soon learned of the iconic building’s fate. Breaking news stories made their way across the globe, and pictures and videos of the event soon made their way across the internet.
Before too long, we just had to watch as the true shock unfolded before us. Those at home hoped that the authorities and the firefighters would be able to put out the blaze before the building suffered permanent damage. In the end, the fire burned for a whopping 15 hours before it was fully extinguished.
