When Suzanne and her son posed in front of the Notre-Dame cathedral for their very own selfie, they realized that they were joining the ranks. After all, they were surrounded by other families, couples, and solo travelers who were all taking photographs in front of the impressive structure.
In their eyes, their picture was just another one to add to the other hundreds that were being taken, but it seems as though they snapped their picture at a moment that would go down in history. This was the moment that the famous Notre-Dame cathedral started billowing smoke and alerting the world to the fact that it was on fire.
