Over in the Charleston County School District, one sixth-grader was shamed for wearing a denim skirt that apparently belonged in a club. The student’s teacher made the comment, and her mother was far from impressed.
She took to social media to air her feelings, revealing that she’d spent weeks trying to find a skirt that was suitable for school. The mom shared that the item of clothing was well within the dress code policy guidelines, something which the school administration later discovered themselves. They swiftly apologized for the teacher’s comments.
