Several male students agreed that the dress code policy was biased. Although it didn’t discriminate against gender itself, the people who put it into action weren’t being consistent with the rules. These boys had also noticed plenty of guys getting away with showing skin while the girls were punished for baring their shoulders.
Not only did these students hate the unfair treatment, but they also believed it sent the wrong message about men. Stating the girls had to cover up because they were distracting the boys made it seem like all guys were pigs.
