Accompanying the the picture was a short statement from Buckingham palace, cryptically saying this new portrait was released to mark “the start of a new decade”.
The picture essentially shows the line of succession, the future of the British monarchy. And Harry is nowhere to be seen. Some may say this was a clear sign to Harry he is no longer seen as a central, important part of the family – or their future royal status.
