Harry flat out admitted his and Meghan’s decision to step down as royals was because of the trauma he himself suffered as a child, due to his mother’s (and his own) life in the harsh spotlight. He said he just doesn’t want that life for his wife and son.
He also admitted the separation with the Royal Family has been difficult, but he has no regrets. Instead, him and Meghan are very optimistic about their future.
