The friend of the little girl’s mom couldn’t figure out why this girl’s hair hadn’t been brushed properly. While she knew that her friend was struggling at the moment, it didn’t seem like a good enough reason not to brush her daughter’s hair.
She described the little girl’s hair as being like a ‘bird’s nest’ at this point, and it looked as though it hadn’t been taken care of for at least a week. She felt she had no choice but to step in and help this little girl out.
