Once they had worked out that they knew it was the handiwork of an adult, they were outraged. They wouldn’t have been so furious knowing it was another child, because sometimes these things happen and kids don’t always understand their actions.
However, it had been done relatively well, which means that another adult had chopped their daughter’s hair off and then didn’t own up to it. This worried the parents, so they decided enough was enough.
