Unfortunately, it seemed to work out to be one of those situations that seems irreconcilable. She realized she had lost a friend and she wasn’t getting her back. She even thinks that the girl’s mom could even come to like the idea of her hair.
However, it did highlight something for the friend. She wasn’t so sure that, if the mom were to come around, that she would want to make up with someone who had reacted so harshly. She was only trying to help them both out.
