Out of her proposed $30,000, Jessica was awarded just $270 – as a refund for the treatment she had. She was overwhelmingly distressed from this outcome, and she wholeheartedly believed that more than just a refund was needed to reach justice.
If this was going to be solved fairly, she was going to appeal for more compensation. The damage done to her emotionally was far worse than just a refund. The matter wasn’t done for Jessica. She was still willing to fight.
