Even though Sean Penn and Charlize Theron had only been dating for a year, they decided they were ready to get married in December 2014. The two got engaged and began planning their wedding, although nothing ever came out of it.
They ended up separating half a year later, with the drama movie ‘The Last Face’ reportedly playing a role in this. Penn directed the film while Theron starred in it, and it seems that working together didn’t suit either of them in the slightest.
