Ali MacGraw was only a few years into her marriage with Robert Evans when things took a turn for the worst. The actress landed a role in the thriller film ‘The Getaway,’ and it was here that she connected with her co-star Steve McQueen.
Even though the actor was known for enjoying the company of women, that didn’t stop McGraw from throwing her marriage away for him. She divorced Evans in 1972 and married McQueen one year later, although that relationship also ended after just five years of holy matrimony.
