During the show’s seven season run, Christopher Castile starred in the hit movie Beethoven and Beethoven’s 2nd. He also did the voice of Eugene Horowitz in the animated series, Hey Arnold! Following the cancellation of Step by Step, however, Christopher retired from his acting career.
He received a masters degree and is currently a political science professor at Biola University in California. So his character Mark wasn’t so far off from Christopher’s real life. Sometimes people really do end up like their tv characters!
