Angela decided to take a small break after the show ended. Shortly after, she discovered that her parents mishandled her money from Step by Step and had stolen over $2.8 million from her earnings. She pressed charges and thankfully won her money back.
Following this unfortunate incident, Angela formed the CAST Foundation— a foundation that offers free services such as attorneys and accountants to young performers. She is also the national spokesperson for HugsAmerica, which is a foundation that provides all kinds of assistance to others in need. Karen Foster would not approve of her lifestyle but maybe that’s a good thing!
