Not only was Cohen proud of his initial choice to leave the quarters, but he also decided to create something good out of this seemingly negative moment. First of all, he decided he would no longer dine at the places that didn’t want his money – in whatever form he chose to pay with.
Secondly, Cohen decided he would start fundraising for local restaurants that didn’t mind being paid in quarters. This young man told these local restaurants to contact him.
