Royal journalist and novelist Andrew Morton spoke about this matter in his 2011 book ‘William and Catherine’. He said, “He always felt conflicted. To his close friends, William had the attitude that the grass is always greener.” He then went on to explain how temptation was everywhere while he was at university. For some reason, despite having a beautiful suitor for a wife standing in front of him, William couldn’t find the feeling inside of him to fully commit… not just yet, anyway.
