The royal family took legal action in response to the false infidelity claim. They sent a threatening letter to a publication. In the letter, it stated that there was a breach of privacy in regards to their private life. The letter backed up that claim using Article 8 of the European Convention to Human Rights. Fans of the couple have voiced their opinions and many appear to believe that the alleged scandal is false but we’ll never truly know.
