Sure, the world is pretty great, but it’s also pretty shoddy. In a world full of texts, emails, and Facebook messages, why oh why are people still calling each other? The new generation is born out of social awkwardness, and nobody wants to answer the phone – especially not when it’s their ex ringing.
When this person saw that their ex was on the other end of the line, there was not a single iota of their being that wanted to swipe across their screen and say hello to them. Why would anyone do that? We wouldn’t answer the phone to our moms, let alone the person who crushed our hearts into tiny little pieces. No, sir.
