Finally, Jamie-Lynne had finished and it was time to check out so she and her tired baby could leave. By some miracle, she’d actually managed to get everything she needed and she started to make her way to the front of the store so she could pay. Hopefully there was not a crazy long line and she could get out of there within a few minutes.
The dead-tired mother made it to the front of the line and pulled out her credit card. Her disaster grocery store visit was coming to an end and at this point she was probably imagining how nice a shower and nap would feel. She still had one more surprise left for her, though.
