Throughout Brazil, cultures and ethnicities have been blending and mixing for hundreds of years. This group of ladies proudly dance, sing and perform as members of the musical group called Ganhadeiras de Itapuã.
They are dressed in traditional garb and use their music to celebrate the traditions of their small community. In fact, this small group was invited to perform during the 2016 Olympic Games’ closing ceremony. As a result, they have gained a fair amount of fame within their native country.
