Following the role as Carol in Step by Step, Suzanne Somers spent her efforts focusing on anti-aging treatments and started her own line of products. During her run on the show, Somers achieved major success as the spokesperson for the infomercial, The Thighmaster.
Later, in 2014, she was inducted into the Infomercial Hall of Fame. In addition, Somers joined the cast of Dancing with the Stars in its 20th season and finished in ninth place.
