There is a good reason that doctors and nurses don’t usually like it when their patients self-diagnose their illnesses. One nurse was talking through their patient’s previous history when they asked if they had ever had a heart attack. The guy said they had 20.
The nurse couldn’t believe that he had so many, so got him to explain what it felt like. He explained that he would fall to the floor, jerk around for a few minutes, and that his wife’s massages helped him to come around. The reality? He had been having seizures for years.
