The youngest Middleton sibling referred to the notion that he was cashing in on the baby’s arrival as “far-fetched.” It’s not like any of his products actually utilized Archie’s name or likeness in any way.
It was merely the choice of words in the newsletter which suggested a connection between the birth and his marshmallow company. Perhaps that was in bad taste, but maybe James just wanted to keep things relevant. It’s not like other companies never take advantage of stuff like this?
