On the day that she moved to Nashville to start her career in the country music world, Dolly Parton bumped into a man by the name of Carl Dean – and it was love at first sight. The couple got hitched a short while into their dating experience, but this wasn’t the only exciting thing that happened in 1966.
It was during this year that she really started to make her mark in music, and this career would skyrocket over the course of her lifetime. Amazingly, Dolly and Carl are still married today, despite the fact that Carl does everything he can to stay away from the limelight.
