This was a great way of making such an important point to many people. There have been so many instances where people have seriously hurt someone’s feelings as a result of commenting on their looks.
People came together to express their own experiences with this, and to express their own opinions to Thea, commenting that the dress was beautiful. It also highlighted how many people are sometimes too quick to give a negative opinion, but not quick enough to provide a positive one.
