So, this guy has not only insulted her looks and dress sense, he carries on insulting her by demanding that she grows up! What’s it to him, anyway? There’s zero chance this guy is getting a date, so it doesn’t matter what Thea does with her own body.
He carries on, suggesting that she ought to ‘shop somewhere decent,’ which is a very peculiar thing to say. After all, the dress was from ASOS, which is considered a pretty decent place to shop. Even more so after this exchange.
